Paternity lawsuits are most frequently brought in relation to child support issues — the child’s mother is seeking child support from the presumed father. However, paternity suits can arise in many different contexts, such as when a father wishes to seek visitation, custody rights or other fathers’ rights, or when the child is the subject of a pending Child Protective Services (CPS) case.
My goal is to help clients resolve their legal issues quickly with a focus on their needs and goals. In every paternity action, I work diligently to protect the interests of my client and the best interests of the child.
